Sustainability and Climate Change Focused COP31 Preparation Presentation Published

Our university's preparation for the United Nations Climate Change Summit (COP31) organized the "Sustainability and Climate Change Focused Academic Contribution and Project Preparation Meeting" successfully.

During the meeting, a comprehensive presentation was made by Dr. Lecturer Kübra Ertan Türe, the Sustainability Coordinator of MAKÜ, which will guide the process. In this presentation; the historical development of the concept of sustainability, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Climate Agreement, and the COP31 processes that our country will host were discussed in detail. Additionally, project ideas, research areas, and interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities that can be developed at our university in line with the 10 main themes of COP31 were evaluated.
